A short version of the story

I'm Dhavan. I work on Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture, customer data, and the integrations that connect them.

I'm a Marketing Cloud Architect at Genetrix and Product Lead at Emlyt, where I work across product direction, development, sales, and marketing. Before that, I built construction software through Consinsta and worked at Infosys.

This is where I share things I build, technical ideas worth writing down, and moments from the community. Away from the screen, I play piano and write poetry.

  1. Since September 2021 · current title

    Marketing Cloud Architect · Genetrix Technology

    Architecture and delivery for enterprise Salesforce Marketing Cloud work — contact models, consent, integrations — alongside hands-on development and mentoring.

    • End-to-end architecture across Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Data Cloud.
    • Customer data architecture: contact model, sendable data extensions, SubscriberKey strategy, consent and preference management.
    • Integration design across Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Salesforce CRM using REST/SOAP APIs and Marketing Cloud Connect.
    • Solution design reviews, delivery standards, and technical mentoring for the team.

  2. Since February 2025

    Product Lead · Emlyt

    I lead Emlyt end to end, from product direction and development to sales and marketing. Emlyt is an AI voice and chat automation product.

    • Product strategy and roadmap, plus hands-on architecture and engineering.
    • Integration design between the product and CRM / marketing platforms.
    • Go-to-market: sales conversations, positioning, and marketing.

  3. Dates to be confirmed

    Founder & CTO · Consinsta

    A construction operations platform covering inventory, CRM, attendance, and financial workflows. Built with PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL, and JavaScript.

  4. January 2020 – August 2021

    Systems Engineer · Infosys

    Automation and SQL work across multi-database environments, plus full-stack JavaScript during the training programme.

Beyond the keyboard

Two things that aren't work: I play piano, and I write poetry. Neither is a side hustle. They're the part of the day where nothing needs to scale.
