Piano & poetry
I'm not only an architect and a product person.
I play piano. Not performance-grade, but enough that an hour disappears without my noticing. Scales taught me the same lesson data models did: the boring groundwork is what lets you improvise later.
I also write poetry, mostly in Hindi and English, and mostly it stays in a notebook. It's the one place I get to be imprecise on purpose.
Both do the same thing for me as architecture work: they reward patience with structure, and punish shortcuts quietly.
